What Annapolis RoofCraft collects through this website, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect
Through the contact and estimate request form, we collect what you choose to give us:
- Your name
- Your phone number and email address
- The property address the work relates to
- Anything you tell us about the job, including photographs you send
We ask for the property address because it determines which authority issues the permit and whether Historic District or Critical Area review applies, not for marketing purposes.
Why we hold it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare an estimate, carry out work you engage us for, and keep the records of that work, including photographs and written scopes, which form part of the documentation for warranty and insurance purposes.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to understand website visits and usage. Google Analytics loads a third-party script and uses cookies to measure visits and interactions. Google processes this analytics information.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only where the work requires it:
- Google, for the website analytics described above
- Suppliers and manufacturers, where a warranty must be registered in your name
- Permitting authorities, the City of Annapolis or Anne Arundel County, where an application requires the property details
- Your insurer or adjuster, only where you have asked us to support a claim
- Subcontractors working on your property, limited to what they need to do the job
- Where the law requires it
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Records of completed work are kept for the length of the workmanship warranty and any applicable limitation period, because they are the evidence of what was installed and when.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it for warranty, tax or legal reasons
- Stop contacting you. We act on that immediately

Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No transmission over the internet is completely secure and we will not claim otherwise. Please do not send financial details such as card or bank numbers through the contact form.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be notified to affected customers directly.
