Towns we cover

Every town below gets the same Annapolis roofing services: a free inspection, written findings and a measured scope. What changes from town to town is who issues the permit, how exposed the roof is and how the site is accessed.

Annapolis

Where most of our work is, and the town with the most regulatory complexity in the county. Annapolis is separately incorporated, so the City issues its own building permits — Anne Arundel County does not handle properties inside city limits. Historic District properties also need a Certificate of Approval from the Historic Preservation Commission, a separate process on a separate timetable. We work throughout the city, Eastport, Murray Hill, West Annapolis, Admiral Heights, Parole, Bay Ridge and the Forest Drive corridor.

Arnold

Arnold sits between the Severn River and the Magothy, north of Annapolis across the Naval Academy Bridge, and it's a straightforward run for us. Plenty of waterfront and near-water property here, which means the same salt-air considerations that apply in Edgewater: fastener specification and flashing metals matter more than they do inland, because the details corrode long before the shingles wear out.

Cape St. Claire

A dense waterfront community on the Broadneck peninsula with a mix of original mid-century houses and substantial rebuilds. Many of the older streets are narrow, which affects where a skip and a material delivery can sit. A like-for-like re-roof doesn't add impervious surface, so it generally doesn't trigger Critical Area mitigation — but anything changing the roof footprint is worth checking early.

Severna Park

We cover Severna Park for roofing, siding and gutters. Large lots, mature tree cover, and a housing stock that runs from 1960s originals to recent custom builds. The tree cover is worth a specific mention: heavy leaf fall makes gutter guards genuinely worth considering here in a way they aren't on more open lots, and overhanging limbs are a recurring cause of granule loss and physical damage.

Edgewater

South of Annapolis across the South River, running out toward the Bay through Mayo and Selby-on-the-Bay. This is our most exposed service area, and the one where material specification changes most: sustained wind off open water, salt-laden air that attacks fasteners and flashing, and a lot of property inside the Critical Area boundary.

Crofton

A planned community developed from 1964, which produced something unusual: large numbers of houses built within a few years of each other, roofed at the same time, and now reaching end of life together. Much of the original community is also governed by covenants with an architectural review committee, so exterior work may need that approval alongside the county permit.

Davidsonville

Large-lot rural and semi-rural property between the South River and the Patuxent, almost entirely on private well and septic. The roofing is often straightforward; the logistics rarely are. Drain fields won't take the weight of a loaded delivery truck, private drives have their own constraints, and staging has to be planned rather than improvised.

Every neighborhood and town we serve

Permit authority follows the property, not the mailing address. Many homes with an Annapolis address sit outside city limits, where Anne Arundel County issues permits. We confirm which applies to your address before quoting.

Annapolis neighborhoods

The Historic District, Eastport, West Annapolis, Murray Hill, Admiral Heights and Homewood. Most homes here are inside city limits, so the City of Annapolis issues permits, and Historic District properties also need preservation approval.

Annapolis Neck and the south shore

Parole, the Annapolis Neck, Hillsmere Shores and Bay Ridge, plus Edgewater, Riva and Mayo along the South and Rhode rivers. Waterfront exposure and the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area shape many roofs here.

Broadneck and north county

Arnold, Cape St. Claire, Severna Park, Sherwood Forest, Crownsville, Millersville and Pasadena.

West county

Crofton, Gambrills and Davidsonville.

Not sure which authority issues your permit, or whether you're inside Annapolis city limits? Ask us — it's the first thing we establish anyway. Call (410) 348-8473 or use the contact form.

Coverage questions

Travel and distance

Do you charge travel fees?

No travel charge anywhere in our listed service area. Every town on this page sits inside our normal working radius, so the figure on your quote is the figure you pay — there is no distance surcharge added afterwards.

How far do you travel?

Our regular working area is Annapolis and its neighborhoods, plus Arnold, Cape St. Claire, Severna Park, Pasadena, Millersville, Crownsville, Edgewater, Riva, Mayo, Crofton, Gambrills and Davidsonville. Just outside that list — elsewhere in Anne Arundel County, or over a county line — is worth a phone call rather than an assumption: for a full roof replacement we will often come further than we would for a small repair, simply because a half-day round trip makes no sense for either of us on an hour's work. What we will not do is claim to serve the whole state from one address. If we are not the right people for your location, we will say so.
